Children's Series
The Players are proud to produce a Children's Series of plays each winter. The purpose of the series is to expose preschool, elementary and children of all ages to the wonder and magic of live theatre. We book local High School and College theatre troupes to perform shows which appeal to a younger audience.

The Crying Princess and the Golden Goose
When an onion appears in a basket of fruit along with a mysterious golden feather, it brings the Princess to tears. The prescription: one dost of laughter for three minutes. The Crying Princess and the Golden Goose is an amusing adaptation with some valuable lessons about loyalty and commitment.

The Land of the Dragon -- A Chinese Cinderella Story
A Damsel in distress, a Hero to save the day, the Evil Aunt, the wretched Chancellor, foiled plots with supernatural creatures, an elegant setting, magic and beautiful costumes...The Land of the Dragon is Cinderella, Snow White, Robin Hood and the Hobbit all rolled into one.

The Princess Went Thataway
A sequel to last year's production The Princess in the Clouds, although both plays stand independently. Those who saw last year's play will recognize the characters and some of the situations, which should be enjoyable for them.
The nasty King Kragar is now on a quest to find himself. His planet, Blackard, is somewhere in outer space, but not in our universe, although the people are very human. He is trying to take over the neighboring planet Nesseland, which is where Princess Stacy and Prince Stanford are from. Stacy's parents, King Manoman and Queen Rebecca, are doing their best, but need Stacy's help to retain their planet.

Showtimes and Tickets
All performances begin at 2pm. All Children's Series tickets are $4.00. Tickets can be purchased at each performance.
